We all know him: the doner kebab. A flatbread bag filled with salad and delicious lamb or chicken. But the Turkish cuisine has much more to offer than the mainstream kebab from the snack bar next door. 1.Menemen - the classic Every day starts with a breakfast. In Turkey, traditional Menemen is served, a Turkish egg dish with tomatoes, peppers and hot peppers. I also had my menemen with feta. Served in a small pan, the Turkish omelette tastes twice as good! 2. Pide with Ezmeler - Different types of bread and dips as a starter .... Soft flatbread is widely used not only in Turkey, but also in Greece or the Middle East. In Turkey, the pide can be used in different variants and eaten. Traditionally, a selection of different ezmels (dips) is served with simple flatbread. Mhhmmm, yum! 3. Mercimek Çorbası - the classic of Turkish soup culture "Today there is soup": I always hated the phrase as a child when I came home hungry after school. If I had already known the Turkish lentil soup back then! It is ideal as a starter. My personal tip: do not just leave the lemon slices served with the lentil soup on the left side. The sparkling lemon water gives the Mercimek Çorbası an additional fine and refreshing touch. 4. Sigara böreği - The "cigar" for in between One of the most famous cold appetizers in Turkey are the Filo Feta cigars. The pastry rolls stuffed with feta cheese or spinach are perfect for a snack in between. You should definitely order a delicious yoghurt and garlic dip. Immersed in a spicy Ezmeler, the pastry rolls taste even better. Always fits and makes you want more! 5. Gozleme with spinach - Turkish creperie Are we here in France? Gözleme reminds at first glance of a savory thin pancake, which is also known to us as crepe. The delicious snack from Turkey is traditionally made from a thin Yufkateig and is filled with spinach. I even like it almost better than the French version. Convince yourself! 6. Sukuk - the currywurst of the Turks You've probably heard of it before: Sucuk sausage, a spicy sausage made from beef, lamb or veal, which adds to its aroma as an accompaniment to almost every Turkish dish. 7. Köfte with Bulgur salad - the Sattmacher My absolute favorite dish! Köfte call the Turks their meatballs. Due to the strong spices the kofte taste much better than the typical German meatballs. As a main course, they are often served with a traditional Turkish side dish, the Bulgur salad. Bulgur is made from durum wheat semolina and is common with the Turks as a side dish. The salad is also a popular variant among vegans. 8. Manti - the noodle classic If you do not want to go without a pasta dish, you can choose Manti as you look at the menu. Yufka dumplings filled with minced meat or lentils are especially tasty with the traditional Turkish yoghurt sauce! 9. Lahmacun - the Turkish pizza A good alternative to kebab at the food stalls. The Turkish pizza is a thin flatbread spread with a spicy layer of minced meat, onions and tomatoes. The whole thing looks like a pizza at the end, but the Turks roll it in like a wrap and bite it in. Good Appetite! 10. Baklava with pistachios - the sweet seduction Leaving a bit of room in the stomach after eating is an advantage, because you can not miss this sweet dessert of Turkish cuisine. Baklava is a pastry made from puff pastry stuffed with honey and pistachios and placed in sugar syrup. Super powerful, but incredibly delicious! Afiyet olsun - That means good appetite in Turkish
Warm environment.
There is great dough, tastes very good.
Highly recommend the yummy donuts and the breakfast Don't go without seeing everything is fresh and their produce.
Super delicious lunch menu. The pastries are also highly recommended. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. At the end of the lunch menu there is always a small dessert. I will definitely come here once a week and I am always satisfied.
Brilliant. I love to eat here. Good home cooking, great value, and tastes just as good as my Turkish grandmother's. I can only recommend.
Very delicious food from very nice people! The prices are reasonable for the quantity and quality that is offered. Everything handmade!
